Mr. Terian brings over two decades of principal commercial real estate industry experience to the firm, having worked with a number of highly respected institutional and private equity real estate investors during that timeframe. His breadth of experience includes direct debt and equity investing throughout all major property types and risk profiles, capital markets expertise including capital formation for individual investment profiles as well as closed- and open-ended funds, asset management through property life cycles, and market research/investment strategy. Mr. Terian has completed over $3 billion in aggregate transaction volume across various asset types and geographies, comprised of over 7 million square feet of commercial property and nearly 10,000 residential units. Additionally, he has been directly involved in the development of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects with a cost basis of approximately $2 billion.
Prior to joining BRE Capital, Inc., Mr. Terian held leadership positions with Pacific Urban Investors, Monday Properties, and Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation, a Boston-based SEC Registered Investment Adviser, where he originated equity investments for the firm’s US Real Estate Investment Fund.
David is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he received his B.A. in Economics
